Next up for removal, the big heavy overhead luggage racks. These were not any easier than the bathroom, just, big, heavy, and somewhat awkward to remove. There was a lot of stuff to remove before they could come down and go out of the window. There were two switchable 24 volt lines for reading lights, and indirect lighting, speaker wire for the radio, intercom, and entertainment system. Video and power lines for the DVD and TV system, and lights for the luggage rack. Once all of that was taken out and labeled for reuse later, I was able to take all of the supports and screws out, and with the help of a friend, get them out thru the window.
Lots of work done to get these out of the bus safely. Thanks to my good friend that helped me! With the seats and the bathroom and luggage racks out of the way, it's finally time to lay down a NEW SUB FLOOR! From here, I can make my floor plan, and tape it down and make changes here and there to make it make the best sense!
